Project show case from Japan - How we can collaborate?
abstract
Hello from Japan! Code for Japan is the civic tech community in Japan. Under the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of projects have been happening in Japan. This session introduces some os such projects. Then we would like to discuss future collaboration between Taiwan community.
A g0v contributor who builds communities and works between the public and private sectors. Mainly contributed in vTaiwan project, exploring the possibility of open communities.

Mariko Nishimura started a career in IT with IBM Japan before moving into marketing management at Adobe Systems and production at Bascule. CEO and Co-Founder of creative marketing agency HEART CATCH Inc. since 2014, Mariko connects business, creativity and technology beyond borders, working with start-ups, companies, and government.
Community manager of Code for Japan and she is a PhD student of child development at Osaka Univ. She worked for LITALICO and held Social Fighter Award, the award for the team who work on the social issues in 2018. This year she organized Civictech Challenge Cup U-22 with Code for Japan interns.
